WebStep ... since 1998

WebStep s. r. o. was established in May 1998, following the efforts of the founders to make use of their long-time experience in the branch of informatics and computer technology.

Since then, WebStep has gained numerous satisfied customers. It is our credo to provide our clients with top services based on efficient, open and standardized technologies. By means of our expert Team of professionals, we reach that objective by the continuous research of new trends and their implementation. WebStep s.r.o. strongly supports the idea of open-source software. Partnerships were established with IBM (IBM Business Partner), Novell (Novell Silver Partner) and Jive Software (Gold Member Partner).

Among the Service provided by WebStep, the most important are: design and administration of computer networks; solutions for graphic terminals and multimedia classrooms; web applications; on-line shopping systems; and implementation of XMPP solutions. WebStep s. r. o. is an operator of the very first Linux Center in the Czech Republic. The WebStep Linux Center mediates and distributes the Linux operating system to the public, enthusiastically promoting the idea of open-source software. With the WebStep Linux Center, each visitor can try out various Linux distributions and - due to our qualified counseling - purchase the system, or discuss the opportunities to apply the Linux system in their company or area of interest.
